In honor of Wedding Wednesday, I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you a little more about the WORLD class team I get to work with. When I started this business my dream was to get to the point where I could hire the best of the best, and utilize many people's talents not just my own.

This is ONLY the beginning, in the next year I am going to start working with young photographers as interns.

I am a firm believer in the power of a team working together, and I am so committed to the quality of your experience with my company, that I have hired the best of the best to walk by my side. They all add something different and wonderful, but most importantly they allow me to follow my dreams and be at every wedding I book, edit every picture that is taken, and build lasting relationships with every client I have. It's a HUGE gift, and I am thankful for it EVERYDAY.

Kurt Thompson Uphoff  {photographer}

     Kurt is a Duke Graduate, with an MBA from Carolina, he currently lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with his wife Carol. He is a retired Naval officer, and  currently owns a Recycling and Waste Hauling company in Durham, North Carolina. I like to call him the "Nuts & Bolts" he is the best assistant I could ever ask for. He is always ready with an extra set of hands, advice, or a clipboard. He brings to much to this company and to my life, the best part of the whole thing is that at the end of the day when all the work is done, I get to call him Daddy. Growing up we didn't always have the greatest relationship, so the biggest blessing to me has been having him by my side through this journey of owning a business. He knows FIRST hand the ups and downs of being a business owner, and has so much grace for me as a daughter, boss, and friend. I think the things I really love about him the most is that he has the BIGGEST heart, the funniest sense of humor and works harder than any man I know.

Carol Brooks Uphoff {assistant, party{booth}

Carol is a Lynchburg, Virginia native with a Bachelors in Social Work from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina.  She lives with her husband Kurt in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and is best and most proudly known as E-Rock + EmilieCarol's Mama. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is nothing in the whole world she wouldn't do for her kids, she proves this time and time again. I love what she brings to our team, she really keeps Daddy and Me in line, and it always helping out in anyway she can. She is a pro at last minute hairdos, flowers, and coffee runs. It's truly an honor to travel with her and have her by my side, she is my biggest fan, and my rock in so many ways.

Anna Henderson Bargeron {blog manager}

Meet our newest EmilieCarol Photography team member!!! 

Anna is a Clemson Graduate, and currently lives in Simpsonville, South Carolina with her husband of ALMOST a year TJ. The moment I met Anna I knew we would be great friends, we met in college and quickly became the best of friends. Anna has the biggest heart of any one person I have ever known, her relentless love of the people in her life is such a blessing. She has always had a personal blog on the side, which of course I have stalked for many years. Anna's writing is beautiful, thought provoking, and always leaves you with a HUGE smile on your face. I can't even tell you how excited I am to have her on my team, I know that she will knock it out of the park, and I just can't wait to see all the great things she does.

Anna is head of all things {ec} blog related, she will be writing, editing, and managing the blog. She is giving me one the biggest gifts in the whole world, to be able to do what I love and focus my energy on doing what I love.

Deanna Morse Morton {office assistant/ bookkeeping}

Deanna is the owner of {Your right hand Assistant} she does personal assistant work all over the southeast as well as planning weddings and events. She currently lives in Greenwood, South Carolina with her husband and their CUTE daughter Allison. Deanna holds down the fort she handles all my bookkeeping, photo sales, and invoices. I have LOVED getting to know her and her sweet family, I am so thankful to have someone so great taking care of business while I'm away, it really allows me to be present in the moment and know that I can trust the person taking care of the things while I'm away. 

How CUTE is her little girl?!!! I mean seriously...

Together we make ONE unstoppable team, and I can't even wait to see where we go next!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all YOUR endless support and love, I couldn't do it without each and every one of YOU supporting me through this!
